Hi, I'm Kitty!
I am a current Senior at University of North Carolina pursuing my degree in animation. My specialties are 2D and stop motion animation, armature and set fabrication. I am incredibly passionate about creating with my hands, which has led me to obtaining certifications in a variety of machines so that I may lead other students in the exploration of fabrication in the stop motion course I currently assist with.
I returned to academics after many years in the working world, and because of this I am a self-motivated and high-achieving student, currently holding a 4.0 GPA. In addition to being self-motivated, I also gained from my working career a deep love for teamwork and collaboration. I am someone who feels comfortable both leading a team and following a team leader.
My goals after graduating from UNCA with my bachelor's degree are being accepted to the National Film and Television School's Model Making for Film and Animation graduate program, and then finding my place within the armature and set fabrication industry. I hope to find a company that feels like family while challenging me to be the greatest version of myself!
