Hi, I'm Kitty!
I am currently a senior at the University of North Carolina Asheville, pursuing a degree in animation. My areas of concentration are stop motion fabrication and animation. Because I am passionate about creating with my hands, I obtained certifications for various fabrication tools and machines. I am currently serving as a course ambassador for a stop motion class, which allows me to assist in teaching students about fabricating and animating.
I returned to academics after many years in the working world, and because of this I am a self-motivated and high-achieving student, currently holding a 4.0 GPA. In addition to being self-motivated, I also gained from my working career a deep love for teamwork and collaboration. I am someone who feels comfortable both leading a team and following a team leader.
My goals after graduating from UNCA with my bachelor's degree in December 2026 are being accepted to the National Film and Television School's Model Making for Film and Animation graduate program, and then finding my place within the armature and set fabrication industry. I hope to find a company that feels like family while challenging me to be the greatest version of myself!
